Problems with Trump "deep-state" arguments.
My lack of belief in these deep-state rumours isn't simple based in the fact that evidence is just completely non-existent. It also lies in the presence of an overwhelming existential problem facing such issues.
In fact, it is the same issue the claims of election fraud or inferences of an unfair election face; the system is arguably more biased at the present moment in Trump's favour now compared to how it was in 2016.
Currently Republicans, many of whom Trump has publicly praised, control 2/3 of the legal levers of the US. They control the senate, and the presidency. And they have a more than decent showing in the house as well. Contrast this with 2016 and you had a first time, largely joke Republican Presidential candidate with a Democrat President and a Democrat house.
The question is; how is it possible that the supposed "deep state" grew stronger during a Trump Presidency? Either it doesn't exist, or the President himself failed to do anything about it. So, even if you believe the "deep-state" theories, you should still be questioning, and very much so, whether Trump is actually the person you want in charge.
