HAHA Another Windows 10 Mobile build!
Earlier I had mentioned that I wasn't happy with the pace of the fast and slow rings because I didn't think that there should ever be a point in time where the Fast and Slow rings are offering the same build unless there is minimal overlap period. And I had a feeling that Microsoft might feel the same way as well. So I was kind of expecting that after they pushed the most recent fast ring build for mobile to the slow ring that there might be a new fast ring build this week. Though I was slowly beginning to lose hope. And it has happened.
Of note: I still don't think that the pace is great. I think this is simply a sign that Microsoft and I can agree on the bare minimum requirements for their Fast and Slow rings. My actual expectations are still that the builds should be faster in the fast ring for mobile than they currently are, though it is fair to say that they are getting slightly faster. I don't think the previous build is even a month old yet.
Interestingly, the build has the same build number as the current fast ring PC build.
I'm still not expecting the same level of performance and stability. But it is interesting to see that they are both based on the same build.
BTW, I'm not expecting the same level of performance and stability because I'm fairly certain that those problems on the mobile version are isolated to the low level code differences in the architectures. And, it isn't JUST that the instruction sets are different, they are completely different paradigms as well.
Anyway, once my phone is updated, if there is anything worth noting, I'll note it :)
