Slacking recently... Part 2 I guess.
Well, not really slacking. It hasn't stopped snowing in 3 days. I've shoveled the driveway 5 times. I really don't finish doing that in the mood to do anything else.
It hasn't stopped me as such. I now have a whole host of grids completed and I have begun the nightmare that order entry will become. Shortly I'll find out whether or not I have shot myself in the foot with some of my design decisions. Namely my "special order lines". In theory they should work like a charm, eliminating the need to try and fit them into the cookie cutter that is the full blown purchase order. Hard part is capturing enough information to make sure nothing goes wrong with the financial side of things. Still need to be able to do things like update/cancel/back order probably.
Cool things accomplished... I have auto complete boxes embedded in my data grid that get suggestions and detect whether or not I'm entering a product or service that isn't valid, and it then proceeds to open a screen to create a special order if it doesn't.
Damn I'm tired.
Goodnight.
